Newman Memorial Hospital's Community Health Needs Assessment

New requirements for nonprofit, 501 (c)(3), hospitals were enacted under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), passed on March 23, 2010. One of the most significant of the new requirements is the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) that must be conducted during taxable years after March 23, 2012 and submitted with IRS form 990.
